Nick Gonzales is Week 1 "Slugger of the Week"

Nick Gonzales of New Mexico St. was chosen as our Week 1 Slugger of the Week!

In his last eight games, Nick had 17 hits, 26 RBI, scored 17 runs and had 11 extra-base hits. He hit three doubles, a triple and an incredible 7 home runs, including a pair of multi home run games in which he had nine and seven RBI, respectively.  Nick posted 10 walks, vs. four Ks and stole a base.

Nick is a Junior infielder from Vail, Arizona.
